INTEGRATIVE MASSAGE THERAPY

We've combined years of experience and training into one massage that doesn't limit you to just one technique or style.
We'll talk about your goals and issues you'd like to address and craft a treatment plan unique to you.
This massage takes focused work to address the aches and pains plus blends in elements of relaxation.
Each session includes synergy stones, hot towels, aromatherapy, topical applications (arnica, magnesium, cbd) at no extra charge.
Our modalities are: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, MPS, Flower Essence Therapy.
Gua sha or Cupping Therapy may be incorporated into treatment, if desired/contraindications.
You'll receive optimal benefits from bodywork that addresses mental and physical tension.
Our prices are flat fee, no tips are expected.
Modalities
Things to avoid for the first 72 hours: hot tubs, swimming pools, saunas, lotions/salves that are not all natural, extremely hot or cold showers or baths, intense workouts/trainings/races etc., direct heat / sun (especially sunburn) / wind (including vents and fans) / cold (in other words: please keep your marks covered and out of the elements for the first 3 days), deep tissue massage over areas that have cupping/Gua Sha marks. Do not use heat or ice therapies for 3 days after cupping/Gua Sha.
TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
Trigger point therapy is a manual therapy for pain management, rehabilitation and prevention. It is a treatment for myofascial trigger points, which are small contractions in muscle fibers that cause pain, weakness and discomfort in a referred area.
MPS THERAPY
Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) locates and applies concentrated DC microcurrent to therapeutically active points (acupuncture & trigger) for the purpose of relaxing muscles, calming the nervous system and releasing endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. The Dolphin is engineered to detect and treat these active points with great scientific precision & potency, providing stimulation of all three systems at once — nervous, muscular and endocrine.
GUA SHA
Gua Sha is a therapeutic healing technique from East Asia that is used to release stagnation in the body. With repeated unidirectional press strokes, the practitioner uses a smooth-edged tool to “scrape” the skin. Gua Sha does not actually harm the skin. Sha is a pinking of the skin under stimulation. It is an indicator of Qi, blood and fluid circulation and/or stagnation.
CUPPING THERAPY
Cupping is a therapy used in traditional Chinese medicine to remove stagnation and stimulate the flow of qi. Its great for pain, inflammation, blood flow, loosens fascia and can be used to break up scar tissue and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Cupping marks can last up to 5 days.
The difference between cupping and guasha is that cupping goes deeper and guasha is more superficial.
Not recommendable if you have open wounds, skin infections or bruise easily.
